The SUFC Steering Committee (SC) is the leadership committee principally responsible for fulfilling the Coalition’s purpose. The SC is accountable for the Coalition’s operations and provides guidance to the general membership as appropriate. The SC typically meets on a quarterly basis to review Coalition activities and progress as well as address challenges or emerging issues requiring efficient resolution.
Current SC members are:

- Carrie Gallagher, Alliance for Community Trees
- Gerry Gray, American Forests
- Dan Lambe, Arbor Day Foundation
- Steve Sinclair, National Association of State Foresters
- Don Winsett - Chair, ISA Florida Chapter and Valley Crest
The Steering Committee provides regular updates on decisions made and seeks general membership endorsement of those decisions.
